Welcome to Guba, the orchard of Azerbaijan and formerly the main fruit producing region off the Soviet Union, situated in the foothills of the Lower Caucasus Mountain range.

This beautiful region offers many days of exploring nature's sights from the waterfalls at Tange Alti to Hinalig, the highest inhabited point of Azerbaijan. As the first European holiday resort in Azerbaijan, Long Forest gives a unique opportunity to take advantage of Guba's and Azerbaijan's attractions.
Finished in June 2000, the Long Forest Chalet Resort is situated along the Guruchay River, 20 km north-west of Guba and two hours drive from Baku. Being the first foreign tourist investment in Azerbaijan, Long Forest is the only resort giving the opportunity to explore Azerbaijan's attractions whilst enjoying Western standards of accommodation, catering and recreation.

With ten air-conditioned timber chalets five one-bedroom and five two-bedroom scattered throughout the forest and with a central bar/restaurant offering a quality menu, Long Forest provides the perfect escape from Baku.

The single bedroom chalets contain a double bed, bathroom, kitchenette and sitting room containing a two-person sofa bed.

The restaurant with a capacity of 80 and first class chef caters to all tastes.

Residents are also able to relax in the sauna complex whilst the younger ones enjoy the adventure playground. In addition to the sauna and steam-room facilities the complex also contains conference facilities making Long Forest the ideal location for corporate needs and hospitality. Horse riding, mountain biking, table tennis, volleyball, walking and trekking are also available. Camping facilities of tents, camp-fires and BBQs are also available. These camping can also use the wash and toilet facilities of the Sauna complex.

The entire resort has 24-hour security.
